Palazzo Princess Peggy
Meet our latest arrival to Evelyndell, Peggy-Lee. Baby Peggy is our fourth Shih Tzu and is solid black.
The first time i saw a solid black shih tzu was while browsing the web and stummbling across the website of Rosaril, from the minute i saw Spike "Rosarils The Chimney Sweep" i just knew that one day i would own a solid black Shih Tzu.
I have waited along time and done alot of searching, then over in north wales at the Palazzo Kennels my Princess Peggy was born .
Peggy is the first KC registed shih tzu i have owned and has good bloodlines, her main line been Zuthis also well known names like Harropine, Dragonfire, Santosha and Superlion.

Peggy is doing well and has been really quick to train, she came to us at 8 weeks old and from the start she followed the rest of the gang out into the yard to do her 1`s and 2`s we have the odd accident but only due to her not been able to hold it long enough, this will get better with age.
She seems to have bonded well with Ellie our chih but both of them are a little greedy so Ellie has already put her in her place at meal times but mother hen Molly is always around to sort out any squabbling. She plays really well with the all the gang and is a pleasure to see running around the house with toys that are as big as she is, i must say Peggy has been one of the smallest puppies we have had, although she is growing nicely and she is a really good eater so i`m sure she will not be tiny for long.
I have a little story of how Peggy-Lee got her name- As Evelyndell was named after my nanan Evelyn i decided to keep to the same theme, alot of my nanan`s old friends, people that had known her from been a little girl used to call her Peggy. I remember asking "nanan why are you called Peggy aswell as Evelyn, why do you have two names", she told me before she married my grandad her name was Evelyn Lee and there was a singer called Peggy Lee which is why people started to call her Peggy and the name just stuck. So now in my nanan`s memory i have my new little Peggy-Lee who i know my nanan would have loved to bits just like we do.
