ABOUT ME
Hi and welcome to my website,
My name is Adele Savage, i live in a small village called South Elmsall near Ponefract West Yorkshire, where i live with my husband Gary and my Youngest son Jack (13), i also have 2 more sons Joe (18) and Josh (17) they both live in rotherham with my first husband, their dad.
Two years ago i had been diognosed with M.E and found myself spending more and more time at home, i decided i wanted to get a little dog for company and fell in love with the Shih Tzu.
I got my first Shih Tzu Molly in 2006 and my love for the breed just grew and grew.
Then came my second shiddie Lucy in 2007 and i got my third Poppy 2009 and not forgeting my little chihuahua Ellie who i got not long after Lucy. I have also got my dream solid black girl in august 09 and now i have my home bred little girl Lacey-Lou our first born Evelyndell Shih Tzu, Lucy-Lou` baby who was born in september 09.
Evelyndell Shih Tzu`s got its name from a very dear person in my life, Evelyn was my nanan who we sadly lost in january 2006 at the age of 83 and dell is the name i used to get called when i was small and some of my friends still call me Dell now. Sadly my nanan never got to meet my babies, i know she would have loved them to bits as she was one of the biggist dog lovers i knew and that is probobly where i got my love of dogs from as i spent alot of time with my nan and grandad as i was growing up, i can just remember Pepi a standard size black poodle they had when i was little, they then went on to have yorkshire terriers and had Sam,now he was my best buddy as i was growing up, i used to dress him up in my dolls clothes and push him round in my dolls pram, he loved it, you could do anything with him, i`m sure he thought he was human he even used to climb the steps on the slide and sit at the top, my mum still adores the yorkies now, having lost her last boy Benji in 2005 he was 16 we still talk about him and his mischeivious ways, mum misses him so much.
I miss nanan Evelyn so much but i know she will be looking down on me and will be so proud of me and my babies and that i am using her name as my affix.
Breeding my girls is now the next chapter in my life and i am putting alot of time and hard work and of course love into making sure my girls are healthy and ready to become mothers when the time is right, my girls are and will continue to be health checked regular by our family vet to make sure they of are fit and well enough to breed.I also have two fantastic mentors Debbie and Keith Duckitt who have been breeding for years, they are both special people to me as without them i would not have my precious babies.
I am always willing to listen to advice from other more experinced breeders and i am egar to learn and without the knowledge from other more experinced breeders my dreams would not be happening, i would dread to think going into breeding alone with no knowledge would be a terrible, so i`d like to say a big thankyou to those who have help me along the way (you know who you all are)
I would love to share my passion with you and also my knowledge of the breed, please feel free to browse and hopefully enjoy my site and share my joys of new litters as they arrive.
If you have any questions or would like to own one of my gorgeous babies please get in touch, i will help as much as i can.
